Police officer: she deserved it. (Christ, I’ve gotta stop listening to Alex Jones.)
A 72-year-old woman is pulled over for speeding, then tasered and sent to jail. Kathryn Winkfein says she drives to Austin about twice a month to do her shopping. But on a Monday afternoon, a Travis County Constable deputy pulled her over, on her way back to Granite Schoals.
Update: What the hell is Russell Means doing on an Alex Jones DVD flyer?

I’ll poke around. Maybe.
Update II: Police officer assaulting ambulance driver. Yep, also Alex Jones.
Update III: Russell Means was on the Alex Jones show recently. Fucking weird.

Cool, did he pick up one of those Discmen with magnets glued to it that makes free power from nothing? I hear they’re really cool (from people with infowars bumper stickers).
Alex Jones and Russell Means are both weird libertarian types. Jones admitted at the DNC to supporting Means. Not too surprising, they both seem to fall into the same political circles, with some variations.
I see a couple of huge differences between the two. Means usually sticks to reality, for one, while Jones believes that the US government’s gonna start rounding its own citizens up in FEMA camps to exterminate them. Also Means’ libertarianism — at least as I understand it — stems from a core worldview that revolves around sovereignty rights and the right to self-determination stemming from his involvement in the anti-colonial AIM.
